Re: 2.6.8
Been running c5 with P2 v1.9 but starting to have intermittent problems with Thetis locking up. Sometimes I'll see a few "seq" errors and then it will lock up. Other times no "seq" errors but an audio cutout then it locks up. I switched to P2 v1.7 with no improvement, more lockup...
Re: 2.6.8
Have noticed in ver c4 and c5 when Thetis is shut down on a band other than 20m, the next time Thetis is launched and I select 20m band the drive level has changed to 100, not the lower level as previously set. Anyone else seeing this?

Re: 2.6.8
I have just noticed a bug when running any version of Thetis with either Commander in DXLab or DDUTils. If I try and turn on the CWX tab while running those utilities, Thetis will freeze and crash. If I only load Thetis and not my logging program or DDUTils, CWX works normally. I have had several o...

Got this error trying to install 2.6.8.
I have run 2.6.7 and FW 1.9 in the past but reverted back to PowerSDR after experiencing some problems after months of no issues.
Rig is an 8000DLE
Any help would be appreciated.
Thx

Re: New PC for Anan Suggestion
I think the single most significant change one can make, if not already in place, is to add a dedicated Ethernet port and subnet to the rig. Regardless of which protocol one may be using, I saw significant improvements to both when the dedicated subnet was created.

Re: HPSDR shuts down after 8000DLE relay click noise.
I'm puzzled as well.
Any suggestions? Maybe a fresh Thetis database? Maybe load v2.6.7?
It's been working so well for so long I hate to go back to P1.
Thx

Re: HPSDR shuts down after 8000DLE relay click noise.
Scott.... I continued to test the system with P2 and Thetis this morning and had repeated instances of Thetis being disconnected after hearing the clicking in the 8000DLE. This afternoon I reloaded P1 v2.3 and PowerSDR mRX PS v3.6.9 and have had NO disconnections or clicking from inside 8000DLE. I'm...

HPSDR shuts down after 8000DLE relay click noise.
I have been running an 8000DLE with P2 v1.9 and Thetis v2.6.6 for several months with no significant issues until today. As of this morning, intermittently, the 8000DLE will emit what sounds like a relay click when selecting a new band. At that point HPSDR turns off, Power button light turns off. So...

Have been running P2 v1.9 and Thetis v2.6.6 on my 8000DLE for about five days now with generally very good results. I have seen a few, very brief SEQ 43, 42, 11 and 8 error message but they do not appear to cause any noticeable issues. The last two days I have had two occurrences of where upon key d...

Scott/Rob.... Today in installed a NIC card in my computer. I then read through Rob's post on moving the Anan to a separate network. I Followed Rob's instructions and it worked like a charm. I did need to go to Bootloader to make the IP change in the 8000, but stumbled through it successfully. This ...

Re: Adding a dedicated PCIe Ethernet card for 8000DLE

Adding a dedicated PCIe Ethernet card for 8000DLE
I'm considering adding a PCIe Gigabit Ethernet card dedicated to the 8000DLE instead of running it to the router as it is now. For all the noise I've read about HPET I can live with the blowouts since it doesn't appear to be anything more than a visual annoyance.

I wanted to send this snapshot to show you what happens when I unkey mic. There is a momentary blowout which is disconcerting. Rob... I'm sure your aware of the new SSD form factor name, but for those who may not it is referred to as M.2 SSD. The M.2 cards utilize the PCI Express bus rather than the eSATA bus which bottle necks the speed of SSD. M.2 SSD drives are up to five times faster than eSATA SSD drives for not much m...
