Not quite sure what happened to my G2 with display after installing the latest piHPSDR build from 16.9.2023.
When I shut down the power with the pushbutton (pressed for a couple of seconds), the pi reboots after 4s.

Anybody having the same problem?

Thank you John,

Encoders are working now the way they should. Switches of the encoders do not work. Seems that my encoder bottom left has no switch.
Will investigate further.

Now using the latest build 2 08 from 9/16

Hello, just for testing purpose I have been changing the lower encoder functions from "AF gain" and "RF gain" to filter functions. Now I am not able to restore the old functions anymore and it seems that the encoder menue does not store any changes. Am I doing something wrong? TN...

In the "Radio" menue I found an rx gain correction. This is what I requested.

I do confirm the observations of ct1iqi. If you are connected to a signal generator (s-meter testing) you don't hear clicks.

Now on my G2 the S-meter is showing 5 dB more than it should. S9 = -73dBm and piHPSDR showing -68dBm.

Dear developers, is there any chance to correct this value, e.g. changing entries in config files?

I am not thinking of calibration functions in the software.

Solved.

dmesg | grep usb

showed me the device name /dev/ttyUSB0 for the RS232 converter. Enable RigCtrl, Enable the serial port with correct baudrate (38400 for me) and now piHSDR is talking to my Microham MK2R+.

I suppose, rec should mean "Received" and not "Recorded".

I am suffering from the same. Audio on Thetis is great, but whith piHPSDR you hear clicking ONLY WHEN SIGNAL is present.

I should be in the correct diretory. I was stuck on "git pull". What country setting are you using in the pi? Might this have an effect?

I have been using the 2000A together with my 7000DLE for quite a while. CAT is working without any problems. But if you have it working and if you're not afraid of your PC, I recommend to use the DDUTIL software. You will find some information on this in this forum.
