Re: 2.6.9
Gary, Glad that the fix was relatively easy. It might be worth opening a copy of the old database and a copy of your new one, side-by-side in Notepad ++ I suppose I could Rob but since it has been many updates and there are new things in the DB of each, it was just the right time to do a reset. Sin...
Re: 2.6.9
After a DB reset it worked fine, re-import of my DB it broke. So did a DB reset and manually configured the DB (didnt take long) and now the Quick Rec/Playback works fine.
Small price to pay, but worth redoing the DB every so often with all these changes.

Re: 2.6.9
Thanks Rob and Carl, I will troubleshoot further with your feedback.
Re: 2.6.9
Not sure where it broke but I am on c2_1 and Pre8 FW. I can no longer get Quick Record to play back over the air. When in RX the audio will play when I hit Play, but if I am in TX it will not send the audio. I do see energy on the VOX meter, but not on any other meter. I also observe the TX EQ turni...
Re: 2.6.9
Perfect! Will not need HamTimer anymore.
Re: 2.6.9
Nice Timer option. Once it is all working I can remove HamTimer that I use for this exact feature.
Any way you can add an option to reset once it hits the Expiration and count again?

Re: Fun with Waterfall ID and voice ID
You know Rob, would it not be cool if we had a "reverse Pure Signal" where we could highlight one (one of many) of the pure crap signals out there and subtract all their IMD. It amazes me that absolute crap that comes out of some many stations, sure their BW is only 2.9KHz but they have IM...
Re: 2.6.9
There is a wealth of info on this forum, but you sort of have to dig around. But Scott did make the important ones sticky at the top.

Or you could just go to the Firmware part of this forum and get it yourself

Re: Fun with Waterfall ID and voice ID
Ha! It was just more that I wanted to see what I could use it for that had wished was there. The WF ID is just fluff but kind of cool. just have to cobble a few things together but the Stream Deck is pretty handy to do this.

Fun with Waterfall ID and voice ID
Been playing around with the StreamDeck 15 I had been using with my Flex 6600M and now using it with Thetis to send canned voice ID's and waterfall ID's with a single button press. Using a combo of SerialSend command line and SoundDeck commands in StreamDeck to key my 7000DLE, play a wav file via a ...

Re: Trouble using HPSDRProgrammer 2.0 and HPSDRBootloader 2.0
OK, it may as well work through DUMB switches. My Netgear is not dumb so I use to have to go direct, but since I switched to a dedicated NIC on the PC it is a moot point.

Re: Trouble using HPSDRProgrammer 2.0 and HPSDRBootloader 2.0
Looks like Scott and Rob have pretty much covered all the basis, and there is good coverage of all this in the forum. But just want to reiterate that bootloader has issues working through switches, save yourself some issues and do a direct network connection from your PC and the Anan. Also the metis...

Re: 2.6.9
Richie, not sure Im looking at this wrong or not but I would think the DBM on the meter would agree with the blobs. If you look at the screen shot, I was tossing a constant carrier in AM (from my Kenwood 890s) and the meter did not read the same DBM reading as the blobs. Meter shows -48 and blob sh...

Re: New 7000/8000 Orion MKII Protocol 2 Firmware Topic
Well tried Pre7 on my 7000DLE (Classic) and ended up with non stop SEQ errors showing on DDC0, DDC2 and DDC4 and I think most were showing a Seq # of 8.
Went back to Pre4 with no issues.

That's funny Scott, I do the same thing in the eve waiting for the group to show up on 1855 KHz. Sometimes it's almost like FM on 160M.

Re: CAT UDP
OK, thanks Doug.
CAT UDP
So under the CAT tab in settings there is a spot to put a UDP port for N1MM. Is there a way for Thetis to send out UDP Freq info in the N1MM require format?
I currently use the CAT port to DXLabs Commander in order to send UDP freq info to my HF Auto, but if I could eliminate 1 step (Commander).....

Re: Thetis 2.6.8 Panafall
Specifically this was added in 2.6.9 a6 (and all subsequent versions)
(11/3/10) a6
add: when using a single RX and when in panafall, the splitter between panadaptor and waterfall can be dragged up and down. Right click to recenter

Ritchie, just asking, will the slider be ported eventually to RX2 also?

Rob I see the same thing with the PureSignal 2 logo staying blue.
Really like the resolution feature, that is slick. Ritchie you are making a top notch radio into a Thoroughbred.
