Do you mean making cables? Because according to the manual the only software interface is between the DXD device and N1MM.
Do you already have Thetis interfaced to N1MM? Because I'm guessing that is also required, and for the 7610 as well.

Re: Thetis and TRX-Duo works
There is no such thing as an ANAN-7000MKIII. Unfortunately this is what people are calling the latest production units of the 7000MKII because these units contain a new revision of the Orion board called the Orion MKIII, which is also an unfortunate and confusing naming choice. You can read more abo...

Re: Thetis and TRX-Duo works
While it would be convenient to gain control of an LPF via onboard digital IO signals, this is by no means a showstopper. There are plenty of serial CAT band decoder designs out there already that can be used to drive an LPF board in an automated fashion. Or, if you were thinking about the merely be...

Ryan, "Playing" is the operative word. I don't ever use linHPSDR, or piHPSDR for real. Where amateur radio is concerned the best tools are found on Windows. IMHO, those who eschew Windows are doing themselves a disservice. The same goes for Linux. I use both operating systems, Linux and Wi...

It's probably fair to say that the answer to that questions is "No."

Where can I find the Andromeda UI mode? I'm sure I'm just an idiot but I've been using Thetis for almost 3 years and I've never noticed an Andromeda mode. Click the "Collapse" menu button. Then go to the "Display Controls" menu and activate both Andromeda options. You can use a ...

Re: Andromeda Initial Observations
Hi Scott, The measurements were after the calibration of the S-meter. I think my stand-alone 7000 DLE shows -124 dBm, but it is a while since I checked it out. BTW, I tried Dither and Random and neither seemed to make any difference. And they won't make a visible difference on Orion MKII and later ...

Re: SPE Expert Amp Interfacing
Turns out that Thetis requires a lower comm port number. I had defined mine as comm 23. Renumbered to comm 11, rebooted computer, turned on comm 11 in Thetis ( setup/ serial/ network ... tab). I defined cat2 control as comm11. Now the amp follows band changes in Thetis. I can't understand why Theti...

On the bench I tested receive with a 50 Ohm dummy load directly on the BNC Antenna 1 connector. Noise floor at 500 Hz bandwidth was -120 dBm on HF and -127 dBm on 6m. Re: Can't hear anything on RX2
There's no one master thread on this. You can start by reading the VAC tutorial in this sub-forum (I've moved the topic as promised). It's a little dated but still has some good, basic info. You will find that nearly all DAWs (all that I'm aware of) can only attach to a single device. This may precl...

Re: Can't hear anything on RX2
I use Voicemeeter to route both VAC 1 & 2 audio where I want it. You can mix it in Voicemeeter or in your DAW.
I'm probably going to move this topic to the virtual audio sub-forum.

If you are using VAC for audio, then you need to know that VAC1 only carries RX1 audio and VAC2 only carries RX2 audio.

Re: Possible New User Of 7000 DLE - Some Questions
I don't know who can make you a cable. Perhaps others do. It's a problem whether you are using the 7000 or 8000.
You can avoid the problem by changing to a microphone and speaker or headphones that you plug into your PC, but if you have your heart set on using the Pro 7 then a cable you will need.

Re: Possible New User Of 7000 DLE - Some Questions
Adding a serial port is trivial. Simply purchase a USB serial port adapter. Typically $10 on Amazon. Or, IMHO better, buy a serial device server. A server will make any serial port accessible over your Ethernet network (drivers on your PC make it appear as if it is a local serial port). Then you wil...

There is no official list of controllers. The best you can do is look through the material in this part of the forum and see what people have used. In general, but NOT always, Hercules series and certain Behringer controllers have worked. Also, there is a lengthy StreamDeck topic here (which was eas...

Re: Possible New User Of 7000 DLE - Some Questions
Bottom line up front: you will have no problem interfacing your Elecraft gear. You will need a new cable for your Heil headset. As you think about how to integrate your existing gear with the new radio, remember that the 7000 is not really a radio by itself. Most of the radio is in the PC software, ...

And how exactly can that be done? I see zero options for changing font or font size in Thetis.va7qi wrote:The correct way to change the font in Thetis is by going into Settings/General.
There are some subtleties. I'm running Win10Pro, a 4K display, and it runs at 150% scaling no problem.
