Re: 2.6.8
BAD NEWS... Same crash again without enabling DX Spotter. Yeah thought so as it seemed ok on my installed (and others), but I did fix the click on yellow area bug in the spot window  Is this after a fresh install, after an uninstall, with removal of C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\OpenHPSDR ? ...
Re: 2.6.8
FOUND! Looks like the problem is the DX spotting option. Setup was fine until I've activated this option, on the next click on the screen to tune a station I had a crash. I was recording all my setup process. I will upload it to Youtube and link the video when done! Thanks for you help! great find ...

Re: 2.6.8
I see on the repository that a new 2.6.8 installer (with a 16 Sept date and file name) was uploaded last night. There are no notes like Richie makes so not sure where this repository version lines up with Richie's code. Hi Gary, There is now an even newer version uploaded to the Github site: Thetis...
Re: 2.6.8
Hi all, Last update for a while, to let things settle. Please note, there is a change to the frame per second delay code, so you may need to reduce your fps setting if you are experiencing difficulties. What it does mean is that 60fps will be 60fps on those machines that can do it. For example, prev...

Thanks for the vid Gary, and the report Nick.
Added to the issues list. I can replicate it here, but the lag is very very short duration.

Re: 2.6.8
What would be great to have is, being able to have two separate windows, one for VFO 1 and one for VFO 2. This way us guys who run multiple monitors can benefit by having full size and separate waterfalls and pan adapter. One VFO on each monitor. Oh and being able to set up multiple notch filters i...

Re: 2.6.8
I have tracked down this problem, related to trying to update RX2 band via cat commands. Richie. That was quick! Hah yes Gary, I had planned on not looking at the code again until end of month, but that specific bug would have annoyed me. It is related to forcing rx2 to update band settings, design...
Re: 2.6.8
Only bug I’m finding is a problem when RX2 is active in conjunction with VFO SYNC. Can’t move frequency beyond an Amateur Band Edge. I am also experiencing some weirdness when trying to recall a Memory when VFO sync is enabled. Relays in the 7000DLE just start chattering away. But it's not all memo...

Re: My Mods to Thetis v.2.6.7
Hi all,
I have replied to the PM's, sorry for the delay, I have been somewhat snowed under with this and that. Things are on hold with me now until at least mid/end of Sept as I have so much on, but all changes have been forwarded off to Doug earlier today.
73 for now, Richie.

Ok I thought I would post because I have been working on this code last couple of days. I have been slowly adding panafall views to RX1 and RX2 I have done a load of tidying of this code, related to the waterfall and the panaadptor. They both now use a single function to draw the grid/frequency labe...

My Mods to Thetis v.2.6.7
Hi all, So as a very happy owner (~2 weeks) of a 7000dleMK2 running P2 v1.2_pre1 and Thetis_2.6.7 I decided to take a look at the project in Visual Studio 2019 and perhaps make some changes. A friend had mentioned that he would like RX1 smeter to be larger so I figured it would be a way to get a fee...

Hercules DJControl Starlight
I picked up a Hercules DJControl Starlight. Initially I had issues getting it working reliably directly into the software. Most probably because of the touch sensitive nature of the jog wheels causing multiple midi messages. I used Bome midi translator, and it is now working great. Just thought I wo...

Re: 7000 and 8000 Protocol 2 users: what say you?
I can confirm that on my 7000dleMK2 (non embeded), the experimental v2.0_pre1 version listed above fixes the issue with Diversity on my radio at least. Using 1.9 caused all sorts of crazy signals to be shown on the waterfall and horrendous noise. Sorry for the lack of technical details. With 1.9 usi...

Re: Warning for 7000DLE MKII owners
Just received a new 7000dleMKII from ML&S in the UK today (no embedded i5/i7), looks to be serial #19. Arrived with firmware 2.4. The jumper was missing, but I only found out after hours of head scratching after a failed 2.7 update using programmer. Found this thread, checked chip ident and adde...
