Re: Wave File Options Menu Missing

Ah ha! MIssed that, sorry. I'm noticing that both the top and bottom of Ron's windows is cut off. Perhaps it is a Windows display scaling problem? What do you have the Scale set at in the Windows Display control panel? Mine is set to 150% and it is working fine. Alternatively, try maximizing the Wav...

Not seeing any problems, Ron. It looks the same as my screen shot, and my screen shot looks the same in both Thetis and PowerSDR.

Re: Wave File Options Menu Missing

Ron, Maybe you could better describe, or post a screen shot (use the "Attachments" tab below the text window when making a new post) of what you are looking for? Because when you click on the "Wave" menu in both PowerSDR and Thetis you get the exact same thing, which looks like t...

Re: How to skip Auto Discover Routine ?

I'm not a user of piHPSDR, but from the little bit I experimented with it I don't think this can be skipped.

The source code is available and it is fairly easy to build. It might not be too tough to modify it.

Perhaps someone else might chime in with a better answer?

Re: Protocol 2 Firmware Problems

I am running an ANAN 7000DLE MKII with PoweSDR mRX v.3.4.9(3/19/18) using Protocol 1 Orion_MKII_v2.7_K5SO_5-4.rbf. It seems to work perfectly. When I switched to Thetis v2.6.9 (1/25/20) using Protocol 2 Orion_MKII_Protocol_2v1.9.rbf, I experienced what I think is called (elevated noise floor of doo...

Re: ANAN-6000DLE

Abhi, So this looks to use the Orion MKII as is, not a new board, correct? Also, it would appear that while the Orion MKII SMA connectors are now directly accessible, you must also be using the parallel micro-coax connectors internally to connect to the RF board, is that correct? Are there any recei...

Re: No audio in SAM or AM mode

Sounds like you may need to reset your database. Save/export the old one in case you want to go back, reset it, and see if that fixes the problem. Because there really isn't any setting that would cause AM and SAM to stop working while the other modes continue to work.

Re: Thetis v2.6.9 Install Problem

Windows updates are famous for breaking sound drivers. Uninstall VAC. Reboot. Reinstall VAC. Reboot. Set up VAC again. If that fails, use Voicemeeter instead: https://www.vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/potato.htm BTW, this has nothing to do with installing Thetis. You should have started a new topic in th...

The algorithm has improved since the advent of "PureSignal 2.0". Not sure if your prior involvement predates the incorporation of the automatic step attenuator functionality or not, but if it does you no longer have to manually set the step attenuator on TX, the algorithm does it for you. ...

Re: Newbie questions re: Thetis RX1, RX2, Multi, scale

1. Is it possible to Zoom the vertical scale on the panadapter? I understand one can drag it up and down, but this doesn't zoom the scale. Would like to change it from e.g. -60 to -120 to -80 to -120. You can do this, but you can't do it from the main console. You have to go into Setup > Display > ...

Chris, How are you getting it to make any measurements in FT8 mode? I have to be in Freq Cal mode to get it work. What happens when you put WSJT-X in Freq Cal mode and select DIGU on the radio? I just did another test with 2.2.0RC1. No difference. It was a bit better, but I think that's because the ...

To be honest, I was surprised and disappointed when I instantly noticed this effect with the Anan 7000. Re: WSJT-X FT8 signal images

If you are talking about that tiny spur within 100Hz of the signal that is not an "image". That is a close-in spur. Given that it is -38dBc, it is probably an intermodulation product ("intermod") that is part of the transmitted signal. Intermod's from the average, un-linearized, ...

DIG IN 1 is an input. The current software uses it as a TX inhibit signal, as already mentioned above.

Kerry, NB and NB2 are “wideband blankers” and operate on the IF passband (the entire bandwidth of your spectral display). So those two functions will have a visible effect on the spectral display. NR, NR2 operate on the receiver passband and the results are not visible on the spectral display. SNB o...

Helmut, Have you considered using Voicemeeter Potato (VMP) instead of Muzy VAC? VMP is free. Both app's can be installed simultaneously without interfering with each other. VMP acts as a virtual mixing console. You have full control over levels with full audio level metering. There is a separate VMP...
