Re: Numark DJ2GO2

I had to use 'bome midi translator' to get my DJControl Starlight to work correctly. There is a trial version so you might be able to look at the midi messages coming out. You might be able to convert/tidy them as I had to do with the touch pad areas of the deck knobs on the starlight. Saying that, ...

Hi Richie, Thanks for all the effort put into this software. I have been following and upgrading with every release. I'm happy to report that everything has been working fine with my 7000DLE S/N-13. I also own a Flex-6500 and have been comparing the two radios. The UI for the Flex ig pretty good, b...

Re: 2.6.9

Hi Perry I had a quick look at the cpu% code and it is currently reporting total cpu% usage of the entire system, which is why we tend to use resmon or something similar to find out how much Thetis is actually taking. I have quickly changed it to reflect the process %cpu that is being used by Thetis...

Re: VAC keeps turning off

Hi Arnie Just to elaborate. Certain settings are assigned/saved along with the TX profile. A tx profile is applied when you restart and if the settings have not been stored 'into' that tx profile then things like this will happen. There are settings available to save TX profile on shutdown to overco...

but very close to saturate one core. It will, which is why I dont really recommend using it. It should jump around perhaps from core to core as it is not fixed to a specific one, at least that is what I see on this 3800X processor. It is purely experimental and will probably be removed at some poin...

Re: 2.6.9

UPDATE HI all, Small update with the peak indicators, and a couple of other bits and bobs. Most of it is only implemented in DirectX at the moment. The peak detect is a simple algorithm, and does not use crossing point/smoothing/slope. Quite handy for this sort of thing, with PS on : psON.png Also,...

Re: 2.6.9

Scott, I have taken a look at the 'not so smooth' waterfall and it is caused by the thread sleep in the main draw thread. To make it 100% consistent we can not use Thread.Sleep in there to handle the frame limiting. I have been playing around with some experimental code but the side effect is increa...

Re: 2.6.9

Anyone else notice this? Yes, probably caused by the wait/delay code in waterfall render and both gdi and dx are the same in that regard. It only updates a line of the waterfall if duration passed is greater than the waterfall update period (or if that duration is 0). It does not keep fractions of ...

I don't know Perry. Lots of people will say what is the point going beyond 30fps because of the misconception the eye only see around 30fps. Well, colour changes are discernible at around 60fps and brightness changes around 100fps, something like that anyway. To me there is a massive difference in '...

Re: Fun with SEQ Log :-)

This seems like a very minor problem. DHCP ack broadcasts should be relatively rare, even on a well populated LAN. Not saying it shouldn't be fixed, of course. I mostly get seq errors when I apparently oversubscribe the critical threads (get the red box). This could be proven by showing that all pa...

No idea, I started to investigate how to get a dev environment up and running for the firmware last night, then I slapped myself out of the bad dream. Joking aside, it does need looking at for this alone. Short term solution is to vlan the radio or put it behind a router to filter port 67/68 traffic...
