2.7.0

Hi all, I have spent a couple of hours getting back up to speed with what has been going on with Thetis, which has now moved on up to 2.7.0 as a pre-release active development version. I will continue to post here my latest compiled exe as a zip including all relevant files that just need to be plac...

Re: Glitches in TUNE signal viewed with Duplex on

As long as the red box isnt showing it should be ok. Also perhaps reduce the rx sample rate as another test.

Re: Glitches in TUNE signal viewed with Duplex on

Should the change have a favorable effect on the problem I have been experiencing or was it just an unrelated issue you spotted? You will have to let me know ;) When that red square is shown in GDI+ display mode, the Thetis main thread is bogged down and is unable to service the frame rate required...

Re: Glitches in TUNE signal viewed with Duplex on

If possible, try to use the DirectX engine, and drop desired frame rate so that the red box top left goes away. If you are unable to run directX then use GDI+ and lower desired frame rate in the same way. Having that red box top left is not good, especially when in GDI+ mode. If you have to use GDI+...

Re: 2.6.9

Probably Phil. I just had a quick check of 2.6.9 Thetis code vs 3.4.9 OpenHPSDR-PowerSDR and other than a tx_xvtr_index>=0 wrapping the PA operation state, there doesn't seem to be any difference. Operationally it looks the same. Might have missed something, perhaps someone else can check.

Re: VAC/audio problems on 200D

Just to muddy the water a tad, even with stable vac settings and increased buffer sizes, I sometimes (perhaps once/twice a week) had issues with Muzychenko's vac and it would give similar results to the top image seen on both the anan+thetis and sunsdr2pro+expertsdr. VAC update (muzychenko)

I noticed that Eugene Muzychenko updated his VAC software recently with a bunch of changes, now on version 4.62.

This peaked my interest from version 4.61 (30.12.19)

- Replaced independent cable clock sources with a single kernel timer to allow multiple cables to be coherent.

I have had a quick look at the issue where PS is seemingly not working when profile is changed and can only assume it is a firmware problem. Re: 2x PowerSDR on the same PC !!!!!

I think you can use single install folder, and create two shortcut links to the exe. As a command line parameter you would then use : -datapath:<some_path_here> and for each shortcut set a different datapath. Honestly, I have not tried it, but -datapath: is handled in the code by the looks of it. Ri...
