Re: Optimizing FFT as a meausure of computer speed

I guess the conclusion that I came to with the Optimizing routine is that if you are loading PowerSDR and it takes 30 minutes or more, the computer that you are using probably isn't going to be powerful enough.

Optimizing FFT as a meausure of computer speed

I have been trying several different Windows computers with my 200D and I notice that running the Optimizing routine can take a very long time on lower powered computers. I am wondering if the time that the Optimizing routine takes would be a useful measure of that computers performance. As an examp...

Re: Beta release of linHPSDR

I have been playing with linHPSDR on my 200D with some success. I read that this was a Beta release and as such I am wondering if anyone knows if G0ORX is planning any further developments. It looks to be a good start and I am looking forward to some additional functionality.

Re: PiHPSDR Controller

I do not own a Pihpsdr console but I have put together a RaspberryPi 3B and a 7" moitor with a keyboard and a mouse that runs the Pihpsdr software. With my setup I have been running all of the versions of Pihpsdr as they have appeared with my Anan 200D. As you have described your background and...

Re: Beta release of linHPSDR

This is probably a really dumb question, but would this run on a raspberry pi 3B+. The Raspberry pi page says that it will run Ubuntu but I don't know how well it runs it. I am very interested in running my 200D on FT-8 without a bunch of external cables and add-ons. I have the Raspberry pi 3 mounte...

Re: Fatal Error

Hi Scott, just an update on my problem installing v8 and v9. I tried several more things including running everything as administrator without success. I had about given up but I thought that my problem was connected to video somehow as the program install never even started before the fatal error w...

Re: Fatal Error

I am still seeing the fatal error listed by JG7PSJ when trying to upgrade to either V3.4.8 or v3.4.9. I am running Orion v 5.0 firmware on my 200D. I have tried all of the possible levels of UAC with no difference. Version v3.4.7 and below work just fine. I think this may be a Video card issue and I...

Re: Fatal Error

I am seeing the same fatal error on my 200D with both version 8 and 9. My 200D runs older versions without problems. I am running Windows 10 Home with all updates and I downloaded the new version from GitHub. Any ideas?

Reset switch

I am running piHPSDR without knobs or switches, just using the mouse to control things. When shutting down the system from the menu, you have to remove power to get piHPSDR back up. However there is a hardware reset that will reboot the system without powering down. On the Raspberry Pi3 there are 2 ...

Re: Asus Tinker Board

I finally got my Tinker board up and running Debian v1.8 from ASUS. It seems that the board is a little picky about the micro SD card you use. I finally got mine going with a 32 GB PNY HC card. Have not figured out how to configure and load piHPSDR yet. I am not using the encoders just using the mou...

Re: Asus Tinker Board

I bought one of the Tinker boards for my piHPSDR project and it doesn't work. Put together a memory card per instructions on the ASUS site and the board does not start up. Tried several times with different memory cards and different revs of the firmware. This is the 2nd bad board I have gotten from...
