Just ran across this gamer's project that basically strips out lots of unnecessary code that gamers don't need. Supposedly helps latency issues in a big way. Looks interesting, may setup a test box and see what happens. Anyway, anyone stuck a foot in the water here?

Re: "New Protocol" explained...
"Until such time as the New Protocol firmware goes into general release, all discussion will be concentrated here." Nothing new posted in months. WU2O has implied elsewhere there may have been some positive developments recently with the timing issues. Can anyone make an informed comment? ...

Re: New install on new Kubuntu
Hmmm, thought that's what I was doing with the git checkout and "make" for both wdsp and pihpsdr. Ok, I'll dig further.

New install on new Kubuntu
Evening All, Not a Linux neophyte, but not much more than a shell programmer here either. Checked out everything via git, as per the build instructions document. Cut and paste in terminal window for each step, all compiles/installs completed successfully. Problem is that when running the startup scr...

Re: Audio input routing when VAC is active

I have several interfaces here, but as the shack's gear here has everything that needs a speaker routed through the 18i20...

Audio input routing when VAC is active
Morning All, New Anan 200D owner. Had a Flex 5000A for nearly a decade before the Anan, so VERY familiar with Flex's version of PowerSDR. I'm feeding my 200D everything via ethernet, and VAC (through a Focusrite 18i20). Mic plugged into 18i20 (needed for phantom power). Anan sees the mic via the Foc...
