Re: Introducing the ANAN-8000DLE MKII

I also would like some update/status on the 8000DLE. I am ready to upgrade (from a 100B) to more power and performance.

Re: P2 version 10.3 released for 14-bit Hermes (10E and 100B)

Been using the new V3 FW with Thetis 2.6.7 on my 100B. Everthing seems to work, except the 6m preamp is not always turned back on after tx (happens about 25% of tx's). Clicking the Thetis tune button on/off a time or two returns the preamp, cycling the disable preamp on rx button in filter settings ...

Re: Thetis 2.6.7 released

Just installed Thetis 2.6.7 with the ANAN 14bit 10.3 FW (on my ANAN-100B) and it appears to be working fine, at least some FT8 QSO's achieved. Unlike Thetis v2.6.6, it does not run with the 10.2 FW and puts up a message saying 10.3 is needed. The boot loader installed 10.3 with no problem. For some ...

Re: Anan 10 and protocol 2 - No Rx ?

FWIIW, I am now running Thetis 2.6.4 on Win10 to operate an ANAN-100B running the 14bit P2 v10.2 FW. It seems to work fine on HF through 6m, at least on FT8 and SSB phone. I have had 2 program crashes of maybe 100 transmissions on 6m though, so maybe not perfect. Hermes P2 v10.7 loads without any bo...

Re: GPSDO Tutorial?

I did messed up on the output. It is ~1.5Vrms unloaded and ~1.2Vrms/15dbmW into 50 Ohms.

Re: Frequency Resolution/Accuracy for OpenHPSDR + 100B

Do you know if any of the other ANAN compatible programs (piHPSDR, SDR console, Thetis), or even the Hermes FW can provide/output accurate subHz resolution?

Re: Frequency Resolution/Accuracy for OpenHPSDR + 100B

Good to know. Do you know if OpenHPSDR repeats better than 1Hz resolution to CAT connections - say allowing the WSJT-X cal function to record correctly for fractional Hz drifts?

Frequency Resolution/Accuracy for OpenHPSDR + 100B

Does anyone know what the max resolution and actual accuracy of the 100B's VFO frequencies used within the 100B's FW, OpenHPSDR and reported via CAT are?

I am wondering whether a GPSDO external reference is worthwhile if it's not much better than the cal function and VFO readouts.

Re: GPSDO Tutorial?

I just got one of these and it has a CTS 970-2178-46 oscillator in it with uBlox GPS. It seems to be an older CTS model 115 OCXO. 10MHz output is ~10Vrms unloaded. I have an ANAN-100B (Hermes) so am going to add an auto-select/buffer board (w7ay/Kok Chen Hermes Reference Oscillator with no OCXO load...
