OM,
I have an early one (ordered on the first day they were offered for sale) and a late one delivered in mid January. They have different handle sizes! You may want to consider waiting until you get yours before buying the custom cover.

Re: Protocol 2 transmit questions
I don't know how to send I/Q samples at the rate that the DUC consumes them, to avoid FIFO over- or under-flow. I see occasional brief damage in the transmitted signal, probably as a result of a FIFO error. I'm generating the samples from FT8 software, not from the ANAN-100D microphone, so there's ...

OM,
That's a potential feature which is in the very early testing phase. If interested, please email me at my QRZ listed address with the name of your ASIO sound device/driver.

Is it safe to assume the R-SPK and L-SPK 1/4" jacks are the speaker outputs for the powered speakers? Hi Butch, The 1/4" jacks you mention above are strictly for non-powered speakers. For your powered speakers you will want to use the 3.5mm stereo headphone jack on the front panel. 73, Br...

Re: Your Setup/DSP/Options settings?
I know this is kind of subjective, but for me the minimum phase filters sound slightly harsh. But the linear phase filters sound like "butter" :-) The good news is that, for lower filter size settings (e.g. 2048), there is very little latency penalty for using linear phase. 73, Bryan W4WMT

I think that's just a bit of leakage current. With "Bias" turned off, a 1 meg resistor pulls it down to just a few mV.

What does VSync do actually?

Can someone please explain what that means?

Hi Enzo, The solution file in "Thetis\Project Files\Source" should load the PortAudio project along with all the other projects automatically within VS2019. The dependencies are wrong I think. Just remember that ChannelMaster depends on WDSP and Thetis depends on ChannelMaster. 73, Bryan W...

Re: MON sounds different LSB to USB...??
Yeah, you're not wrong, most people don't even notice it though. The MON system is a bit crude, in that what you are listening to is the complex baseband (I/Q) signal being sent out to the DUC in the radio hardware. So it's not real audio per se. Somewhere in the bowels of this forum is an erudite e...

Re: VAC doesn't show me a WASAPI option
Hi Mark, WASAPI is trapped out in the code and not shown in the VAC1 ComboBox on purpose because the latency is so bad (~30ms) in shared mode. PortAudio doesn't work correctly with WASAPI in exclusive mode (which is very fast, but badly distorted). The PortAudio guys are currently trying to address ...
