You can't calibrate the radio if it is in CW mode. The calibration will be off by the same frequency as the CW pitch.
Just something to check.

Re: Difference between a 8000DLE and 7000MKII
I have a 7000 DLE and I don't see anyway to set or change the RX2 preselector.
For what it's worth.
I have the latest Thetis software installed.

When doing a Calibration, if the mode is set to CW then the results of the calibration is off by
the CW offset. Up for CWU , down for CWL

Re: Thetis v2.8.11 - UPDATES and current issues
Frequency calibration should be done in SSB mode. Adding the ability to do this in CW mode doesn't seem like a worthwhile pursuit. You may be right. It seems to me that the Calibration shouldn't work in CW mode. It will give an incorrect calibration when in CW mode. Thanks for your great support in...

Re: Thetis v2.8.11 - UPDATES and current issues
I am using Version 21k8 and P2. Radio is an ANAN 7000 In CW when QSK is set and NB2 is on, I get two signals on the monitor display. One at the VFO freq and one at the true CW freq. Also when doing a Calibration, if the mode is set to CW then the results of the calibration is off by the CW offset. U...

Re: Thetis v2.8.11 - current issues
pulled from the wants/wishes thread. What is meant to happen here Tom? As a test, I slapped in 3.650.000 into HRD over cat, with a VFOA RTTY cat offset in DIGIL of 0. The vfo freq in Thetis was 3.650.000. I then changed it to an offset of 1500 DIGL. The vfo in Thetis was now 3.651.500 when sent 3.6...

Re: Thetis 2_8_11 changes/ideas/wants/wishes
Fix the RTTY offset.
Setup -> CAT Control -> CAT
Under RTTY Offset
Enable Offset VFO A
Enable Offset VFO B
This will enable correct frequency when spotting RTTY or going to a RTTY a station that has been spotted.
Thanks

Re: Thetis v2.8.11 - current issues
I'm using 64 bit, P2. Version D4 although the problem has been there for a long time. Setup -> Cat Control -> Cat There is a box titled RTTY offset. If I enable "Enable Offset VFO A" and put 2125 in the DIDGL box, nothing happens. I THINK it should offset the VFO A by 2125 Hz so that RTTY ...

I can now switch bands automatically and run the KPA500 utility with simply adding another
cable.

Scott, Thanks for taking the time to respond. Yes I have done all the things you suggested. The four posts on the radio side of the back power switch has no voltage when the switch is turned on. Skimming with Protocol 2 Firmware
Hermesintf.dll is a DLL that connects to Skimmer Server to allow SDR radios to be used with skimmer. I asked Vasiliy if he would update it to run with protocol 2 firmware on the Apache radios. He doesn't have the time now to do it. Below is a comment he made about the DLl which is open source on git...

He actually had a version that I used which was running on a 100D Protocol 1.
I believe he is aware that it may be a problem to get it running with Protocol 2 but I'm hoping he will try.

Re: CW QSK with the 7000
Thanks Helmut.
I must be doing something wrong. In QSK mode and AGC set to CUSTO as you suggested,l it takes the RX
about 1 - 2 seconds to recover from a sending of a dot.
I did cycle the AGC as you suggested.
