Re: Thetis 2.8.11 Released!

If not already reported, noticed that, even if checked, the "Auto Mode Swch" does not move the radio to CW once the paddles are used.

Re: Thetis 2.8.11 Released!

What is single cal?

Joe,
stand for single calibration, PS runs just once and do not update according to the incoming feedback (no adaptive PS)

From main console, click on Linearity to access the related selections, including single cal.

Re: Thetis 2.8.11 Released!

Clay--are you running VAC based audio? Scott, I am not using VAC, meanwhile, these past few days I only used single cal without any problem. While here, I like to add that if I deselect "show zero line" from the setup (appearance/RX display), while on CW main desktop, show CW zero line sel...

Re: Thetis 2.8.11 Released!

Same issue as N9VX on my ANAN10 (16bit) running Thetis 2.8.11 P1 using W10 x64. i7 desktop 6 gig ram, SS drive.

Did try deleting the file wdspWisdom00 and regenerating it with no joy.

It seems linked to PS as without it or single cal it works fine, it happens randomly 1 every 12-15 ptt

Re: Thetis 2.8.9 Released!

RE:Thetis v2.8.9 x64 on ANAN 10 P1 potential issues I do confirm ANAN 10 selection Acknowledged #1 and # as already known issues #3 after importing the TX profile used on PSDRmrx, did not perform any save, everything fine now, that has solved #4 as well. #5 seems the only pending, re-checked with di...

Thetis v2.8.9 x64 on ANAN 10 P1 potential issues

#1 Default low cut filter set, once updated to a new value (i.e 250), does not seems to effect the front panel filter settings, these remain to the initial 100Hz default #2 Once on collapsed view, with top, band and mode display controls ticked, at Thetis reopening, the bands do not show up on the c...

Re: Thetis 2.8.9 Released!

Thanks to the 2.8.9 update, Thetis x64 now works on my i7CPU 860 2.8GHz.
As a side note, the Default low cut filter set, once updated to a new value (i.e 250), does not seems to effect the front panel filter settings, these remain to the initial 100Hz default

Re: Thetis 2.8.8 x-64 fails installation 19042.508

Ran into the same problem, as reported on another thread, my CPU (i7 860 2.8 GHz) does not support AVX, I guess I will have to go for the x86 one.

Re: Thetis 2.8.8 Released!

Same as Jesus, noticed that the FFT window won't make it all the way to the end and closes by it self, if I try to start Thetis, it stops at 'initialiazing portaudio' and then closes.

Re: Anan 7000dle and pure signal setting

Andy, I am afraid Doug is pretty much right in what he is saying, I have experienced more or less the same behavior, to less extent on the latest 1.5K-FA MK2, which uses the 1K8 module, redesign output transformer and improved cooling system, see pick attached. At the same rated power, I compared th...

Yet another coupler

Originally thought for a more conventional use, a bidirectional monoband coupler designed for a commercial solid state PA. Main characteristics are: Max input power 63dBm (2.000W) IN/OUT impedence 50 Ohm Coupling factor -45dBm @ 28MHz Certainly a totally different approach from conventional ones, as...

Re: New Expert 1.5K-FA and Pure Signal

Hi Scott, yes it looked very nice, given my input drive of 10W, the automatic attenuator settled to 21dB. Based on your old notes, If I do recall correctly, the optimum level should be around 7db prior to over load, this latter happens at -11dBm on my unit (Att = 0), at least what I figure it out wi...

Re: In case you missed it: PowerSDR mRX OpenHPSDR v 3.4.3

First of all many thanks for the update, which I did it, even though it should have not been advisable at only less than two weeks away from the CQWW CW. New features seem to works fine, I mapped three new buttons on the console to take advantages of the tuning enhancements. C tune fixes and scroll ...

NB effectiveness on static rain

Being on a hill top does have its pros but the high antenna can also be prone to the so called static rain, which is not really caused by the rain drops discharging on the antenna’s elements, I must say my experiences are exactly as per Tom’s one (https://www.w8ji.com/pecipitation_static.htm). When ...
