Re: 2.6.8

Great work, I notice that red dot flashing every now and then, may be time for a better video card :-)

Thanks again Richie. I'd also echo what Phil wrote , saving TX profile per mode is very useful.

Just got my 7000 MK11 but in my excitement forgot about this thread . I was able to re write the IP address using bootloader without a problem is it safe to assume that i can safely update firmware too ?

Re: GPSDO Tutorial?

With a 7000 mk 2 on the way I gave in to temptation and bought the BG7 based unit on aliexpress (item 33055900193) for $163 including shipping . I know its more expensive than the stock BG7 but I'm a sucker for good looking toys . https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1KjOWbXmWBuNjSspdq6zugXXae.jpg_480x480q...

Re: Anan 100 For Sale (EU Only)

Price reduction to 1250 euro . Reverted to protocol one as firmware timing issue showed up after 5 hours of Tx. This should be fixed on next firmware release.

Re: Pops & Clicks in Audio

I use Ryzen 1700 myself and the CPU load you are seeing looks a little high. Have you tried latency monitor software ? This might help you identify any program causing an issue. Lots of good info from Scott here http://wu2o.dyndns.org/wu2o_vac_tutorial_2.html

Re: GPSDO Tutorial?

True Scott but bear in mind its a lot simpler with less parts and cost for freqs less than 200 mhz , its basically the RF zero board @ $75 plus a case and display if needed.

Re: GPSDO Tutorial?

Here is another option for anyone who wants to make their own GPSDO. We currently use the RF zero board as the EI 6m beacon and I use the carrier to calibrate my TX in OpenHPSDR/Thetis , not 100% accurate of course because of doppler over the air but I've checked my TX against friends who are GPS lo...

Re: New Protocol 2 Firmware Released

On further testing on lower sample rates the same problem of crashing happens on my Anan 100 so perhaps this is in fact a firmware issue rather than P3 . Maybe the timing is failing when rig gets hot.

Re: New Protocol 2 Firmware Released

Hi Mike, I've seen that too on rare occasions. If you unclick manual under buffer latency and Enable/disable VAC this usually clears it for me rather than going through a power cycle.

Yeah quite possibly although David above did mention that it measures differently than WSJT X. With the set up I have now Ft8 seems to work really well , even got a new DXCC on 6m yesterday from Iraq :D
