Hey Rob, thanks for the feedback and suggestions. Checking the SMA connectors will be a good starting point.

Re: Andromeda drive power drop in low power mode
Here is a video of the power fluctuation with 10W DRIVE into a dummy load. with 100W power output is fairly stable but sometimes drops to 40-50W. 10W drive is stable when station is cold but start fluctuating as soon as it warms up. Its impossible to use the SPE Expert 1.3K-FA amp that requires 10-1...

Re: Andromeda drive power drop in low power mode
Have tried resetting database and also trying older saved versions of Thetis but that did not help. I think it´s a hardware issue or a bad solder point. Have been running only 5-10W drive for over a year so maybe the hardware doesn't like running idling all the time

Andromeda drive power drop in low power mode
Hi guys, have a problem that stared occurring a few weeks back. Have Andromeda running Thetis 10.3.6 and protocol 2 v2.2.3. Have a Expert 1.3K-FA amplifier and it only needs about 10W drive. For some reason drive power began dropping to zero in the middle of TX session. This occurs intermitted so I ...

Monitor audio feedback loop
Andromeda -CIV Thetis 2.9.0.8 FW v2.1.26. I have a problem when using TX audio monitor. Pressing MON and TX I get a awful feedback loop. Same as if I would have put the microphone to the speaker and turn up full AF volume. I have to turn Master AF down to 1 or 2 to get rid of the worst feedback loop...

How do you think it got changed from the defaults?
P1 had a different SetPk value that I don't remember. This was several months ago. After installing P2 the old SetPk value was still precent. Clicking Default changed the SetPk to 0.2899 and PS was working fine again.
How and why I don't know.

Try connecting another receiver to the circuit or different antenna. I had a similar problem some years ago. RX would suddenly drop. A short TX brought RX back. It was a bad connector on the antenna feedline.

Here is my setup for playing .wav files in N1MM. First record the .wav messages you want and put them in the N1MM Wav directory. In N1MM SSB message editor you select path to the messages.
In N1MM audio setup & monitor you select appropriate VAC feed to Thetis.

I can confirm I have the same issue. Have a Andromeda 7000MK2 with Protocol 2 v2.1.26 and Thetis v2.9.0.6. I dont like QSK so for me its not a problem. MOX is never triggered i QSK. Manual MOX CW is transmitted. Same if I run CW from external software like N1MM. CW only works in SEMI.

Re: FM receive limiter patch for Thetis 2.9.0.6 x64
This is a great patch. You know what the best part is - the patch got rid of all SEQ errors! After installing P2 firmware I got SEQ errors pretty regularly on TX both CW and SSB. Very annoying. Now I have been TX for about an hour on both SSB and CW and the SEQ error log is empty! So this patch did ...

Re: ANDROMEDA shuts down when voltage drops to 12.4V
Well I don´t know the reason. I think there might be a problem when the 7000DLE MK2 and PC with i7 processor share the same DC power source. On all other models SDR and PC have separate power supplies. The volt indications seems fairly accurate. Right now voltmeter say 14.06V on DC input and volt in...
