Had to delete the OpenSDR in my AppsData folder
Once I did that - reinstalled, no issues now.

Need help!
Its been months since I have used my rig. I had to rebuild my PC and started from scratch. I installed 2.9 Thetis. (have protocol 2 already installed working fine).
However, It will NOT connect if I select ANAN-7000DLE. It WILL connect on HERMES or others.
Any ideas?

Re: Thetis v2.8.11 - UPDATES and current issues
I admit, I could be wrong - but did enabling the attenuator RAISE the noise floor measurements (ie pan adapter and S meter) happen in previous versions?
I have auto AGC off.

Re: Understanding DSP NR
These videos were fantastic! Thanks for sharing I compare my FTDX101D to the Anan constantly and yes the Anan NR2 when its a big signal, sounds amazing, but for weaker signals the 101D really outshines it when it comes to NR (only). Are there any suggestions how to better "tune" the NR par...

Re: Band change when clicking VAC2 when RX2 enabled
Thanks! The workaround worked! When ever clicking or off VAC2 ONLY WHEN RX2 is enabled, for what ever reason it ALWAYS goes to 40 meters no matter what band I am on. As you can imagine, its extremely annoying. Not sure if this is reproducible for all of you!. ok there is an issue when SD (stereo div...

Re: Help with VAC and VMB
I went the Macro Button as you suggested. I set it up to Disable B1 and MUTE the MIC and ENABLE B1 on the Virtual Input for DIGITAL and then for VOICE remove the MUTE, Enable B1 on the MIC and DISABLE B1 on the virtual input. Would be a nice enhancement if you can "Execute a script" on mod...

Help with VAC and VMB
I use both voice and digital regularly and flip between. However, for me to do this effectively I need to change a few settings around every time. I don't mind staying thetis but having to open up VoiceMeter is a pain. Is there a way for me to when I am in JTDX route those transmit channels and excl...

Re: How to limit max gain
ok I found the issue - I had EQ set in VoiceMeter Banana which was driving up the gain above zero. All is good. I have also made some of the changes you suggested and am able to control via the AGC vs everything else. Thanks again!
You may want to move this to VAC section.

Re: How to limit max gain
ok you both gave me a ton to think about - I will adjust accordingly and report back. thanks as always for the support! This would appear to be two separate problems. 1) as @kc2rgw pointed out, you should never be experiencing clipping at the input of your audio device. That means the audio level ou...

How to limit max gain
I would like to know if there is a way to limit the maximum gain applied to the AGC minimize clipping on the input of my Audio Device on overly strong signals. I am constantly adjusting the volume (ie RX AF Gain ).
Any suggestions?

Re: RX2 and VAC2
Thanks for investigating. I played around and here is the best I could get from VAC2. My VAC1 is VERY lower latency as you can see (MOTU Audio device is fantastic!)... T0 equalize voice I would need to raise VAC1 Buffer to 2048 AND increase some of the other latency settings. Unfortunately wit...

Re: RX2 and VAC2
Thanks.. got it all working with your suggestions. However the only way I could sync the audio (ie remove the echo) was to add a a fair amount of latency to vac1 (adjusting the various parameters) Any other suggestions? Your approach is spot-on: using a separate virtual channel in Voicemeeter for VA...

RX2 and VAC2
I am pulling my hairs being able pump VAC2 for RX2 into my audio device through voicemeter banana. I have been using VoiceMeter Banana for some time now with success for my MAIN. Re: RX2 Isolation and Internal Noise Question
Thank you for the detail reply. I did some more digging and found Diversity was enabled which based on the past setting was attentuating the main receiver. When I would flip my receive antenna on it would normalize the signal. Thus why I perceived an increase in noise. My mistake. Regarding the spur...

Re: Fundamental Question - Sampling Rate
Thank you sir for the detailed explanation and fantastic read!
Am I mistaken by your statement (" It is merely changing how noise power is displayed,") but is the sampling rate only affecting the visual aspects of reception? Are there no other benefits?

Fundamental Question - Sampling Rate
Not sure if this the correct forum / category - move to the proper. I have a fundamental question being a new user to SDR in general. I have noticed that the noise floor or noise in general increases with the higher sampling rate. This makes sense to me since its increasing the spectrum bandwidth. H...

Does this show up with the antenna unplugged?
If so it’s the power supply or something near field
If it’s with the antenna plugged something far field most likely
