Re: Thetis v2.10.3.5 final release

Many thanks Richie and all others involved. The rate of these updates has kept this the most interesting SDR radio ever. I remember in the early days of Flex they said it would be like having a new radio every other week. Well you have made this a reality and perhaps someone at EE should take note a...

Re: Thetis v2.10.3.5 Pre-Release

I have been using the new ASIO config for just over a week and the only issue I am having is that sometimes I have no TX audio and need to reboot the PC. I have tried restarting Thetis but this doesn't resolve the issue. Vac audio is working if I switch to Digital mode just the Mic isn't on SSB. As ...

Re: Thetis v2.10.3.5 Pre-Release

Hi Paul, You don't have to remove the whole reg key. You can just delete the text of your asio driver name within the key value, or you can mangle the name somehow (like adding a bogus character or something). Whichever seems easiest for you. Stay tuned for a finalized guide to replace the prelimin...

Re: Thetis v2.10.3.5 Pre-Release

First of all a big thanks as always for your incredible work Richie. The rate at which you are releasing these updates is amazing. I have updated without issue and added the reg key for the ASIO audio as described. All works so far so good. Can you confirm that if I want to use the front panel audio...

Re: TX Profile updates

Hi Richie,

Good to see you back. One thing that bugs me is RX eq status doesn't save with TX profile. If I go onto Digital mode then switch back to SSB then RX EQ is always off and I have to reenable it. Would be nice if it was saved with TX profile.

Cheers

Re: Thetis v2.9.0.8 - meters and then some more

Thought I would share where I have placed things. One request would be if a container could be made pop outable by just clicking anywhere in it, so it acts more like a shortcut button. As you will see I have the cross needle meter very small, next to the magic eye across the top. Obviously that is f...

If you want to test the router and have two PCs you can dedicate to the task, here are two different tools you can use: https://software.es.net/iperf/ https://www.tamos.com/products/throughput-test/ In both cases you set up one machine as a server, the other as a client. Re: VAC deactivates when switching LSB/USB to AM

Hi Chris As Scott says the profile should do the trick but if it doesn't there are also a couple of possible settings in setup. The first is under the Audio tab, then VAC1 on the lefthand side there is an option Auto Enable. This disables vac for all other modes so you want it unchecked. Second poss...

Thanks for the explanation Rick, the only thing is I moved from J8 to J9 not 9>8 ?
Looking at the photo of the photo of the Orion board in the back of the manual I am guessing J27 is the jack to the right of J9?

7000 MK2 & Temperature controlled fan

I have recently acquired a black 7000mk 2 and find the fan very loud compared to my old 100d. I have seen in the info that the 7000 has a "temperature controlled fan, internal and optional external" These lead me to believe the internal would come on and off as needed or increase in speed ...
