My 7000dle MKII is one of the units that came from the factory with fan is hardwired ON at maximum speed. Likely done to mitigate a heat problem when running 100wts ICAS. The problem is that the mic that you last associated with AM mode is remembered for that mode (as it also is for the LSB and USB modes), and all of the settings specific to that mic's Profile get reinstated every time you change to that mode. Just updated to v2.8.11 VAC now toggles off when AM or SAM mode selected. Clicking VAC1 will enable it. Selecting all other modes VAC1 stays enabled. Problem is repeatable even during same session If, for example, AM selected > re-enabling VAC > select LSB > AM = VAC1 will toggle off again.
