Re: Thetis Macro(s)
Scott - The macro function I am seeking is create a table or chart of SWR readings while stepping across a band, keying and reading / recording SWR. Example - 40 Meters * set frequency to 7.000 (or 7.003) * Key Tune * Read and record SWR * Increment up 20 khz * Repeat up to 7.3 (or 7.297) and stop D...

Waterfall on Quiet Bands
I like to use the LinAuto setting for the waterfall palette. This is fine on the lower frequency bands where there is some noise or some level of signal activity. When I go to a higher, quiet band with only light activity and no noise the waterfall background automatically adjusts per lack of noise ...

Re: Waterfall color palettes...where are they?
The waterfall color palettes are in Setup / Display / RX1 and RX2. On the right under the heading of Waterfall / Palette. At least in my v2.8.11.

If I understand correctly, it is Ver: 2.0
I'll take a look at your suggested reference by Scott.

I looked at what it takes to update firmware today. It didn't seem overly simple.
Thanks again,

Tom - In the VFO pane is an area, "BandStack." Below that title are two squares (black?) with numbers. Clicking on those squares will open the band stack memories.

Re: Thetis - Band Stack Editing
Right you are, Scott. I hadn't explored programming that button too deeply. I has assumed it would need a Keyboard Equivalent. However, there is 'Center Click' which seems to be the equivalent of 'Wheel Click.'
Thanks, Scott.
Thanks, Scott.

I found my previous mouse. That mouse is an M705. Appears the batteries in it are still good. Now, if I can find the proper dongle for it...or use the Logitech Unifying Software to connect it... Manual Calibration Procedure
From the RX side of calibration, now over to the TX side. Per the "Manual Calibration Procedure," I read, "3. Set “TUNE”, Power % to 100." Later steps indicate using 10 watts to calibrate each band. Should the preceding quote indicate '10' rather than '100?' And is that a % or wa...

My Logitech MX Anywhere 2S looks near idential to that. The major advangates are that it will work with up to 3 computers and it is rechargeable. Re: Controller V2
I'm a little confused on the operation capabilities of the Controller V2. In the case of a 7000DLE MkII can the Controller V2 provide all that is necessary to operate without the 7000 having a connection to a full computer / network and HPSDR? If so, what are the Pros and Cons of operating in such a...

Re: RX Level Calibration
While on the topic of RX Level Calibration... Using a non-Anan radio at present (7000 on the way soon), I find that in calibrating with a single frequency signal source for S-9, then switching to SSB signals, there is a dispariity. It has been suggested that the disparity is due to the wideband rece...

I've worked up an outline design with Doug and Warren for a client/server split in Thetis. It is a monstrous amount of effort - probably a person-year of full time work. Done part time in evenings, potentially several years. There is something like 600 function calls that need to be replaced by IP ...
