Re: Thetis 2_8_11 changes/ideas/wants/wishes

When operating RX2, VAC 1 and VAC 2, it might be useful to be able to 'gang' control of RX1-AF and RX2-AF. The same goes for RX1 MUT and RX2 MUT under the same circumstances. For my intent, there needn't be an added AF slider nor MUT button, but a default to RX1 controls would be nice. Or perhaps an...

ok, I am still here and working on it, but I have been busy with some other projects so not too much Thetis time. Thanks. I was able to find a difficulty that was impeding the matter. While the uninstall program took out Thetis proper where it was installed, it didn't take out what was in the Users/Owner/AppData/OpenHPSDR folder. Removing that folder and a another reinstall has Thetis working okay. I was able t...

I have no idea what you did or why you did it. Download the latest release of Thetis installer. https://github.com/TAPR/OpenHPSDR-Thetis/releases Run the installer. Run Thetis. Done (assuming the firmware works OK on your radio, which it might not). Last evening I decided to uninstall Thetis 2.8.11...

Re: Thetis to KPA500 band data

My apologies, I said the KPA500 "RS232 PC" connection could be used straight from Thetis, but that was wrong. I had foolishly forgotten that I was using DDUtil in this configuration. DDUtil happily causes the KPA500 to change bands using this interface. Thetis cannot do it alone this way....

Here's a not terribly important wish for Thetis. Today MS issued an update and with the usual 'Restart Now or Later.' Many programs will restart with the reboot of the newly updated Windows and reopen many programs that had been open upon the shutdown / restart cycle. Firefox is one. It will remembe...

I've reset Windows 10...keeping all files and apps. In doing so, I've lost VAC. I did some updating of audio drivers and related per Mfgr's website, but no joy on VAC. All other audio programs seem to be fine. USB TV, streaing etc. are okay. The 7000 audio direct through a speaker is fine. Thoughts....

That's good to know.

There are firmware versions of TPM. While not as secure as the hardware version, many modern boards may support it. Mine does. I selected it and it seems to pass the known tests for Win 11.
