It's the future advantages that are really compelling. For example, the ability for non-firmware folks to now program many of the things that used to be Verilog but are now in C. The ability to support a thin client/server architecture.

Interestingly enough. I now see this problem on my end too... wondering if this happens on subsequent shutdowns or if it is timing related... In the task manager... click details on left (vs Processes) then look for thetis.exe and right click and pick the "Analyze Wait Chain" option. See what is still pending after you shut it down. Just a pointer and not a solution here... Good luck Oliver.

Update: I am able to get to a 100 Hz tune step by lowering the tune step in HPSDR to 50 Hz. If I lower it to 25 Hz, the T Mate tune step is 50 Hz. 100 Hz in HPSDR yields a 250 Hz tune step in the T Mate. And so on and so forth.
