I wanted to do a follow up to my original post. I ordered a G2 without the front panel on October 6th and was excited to see the final invoice today on 12/2/23. The wait was a bit longer than originally promised, but not terrible. Thank you Tony in support for providing updates and answering my ques...

Ordered my G2- (no screen) on Oct 6th. It sounds like the lead time is much less now... was told 3 to 4 weeks.
I'll report back when I take delivery.
