EER Transmit Mode - Who knows about this?
So just barely scratching the surface on what EER means and what it may be like to try building an EER amplifier. I have very little clue here, but see it's in the software and I've been kicking around building a class-E rig for AM and saw EER and wondered if that wouldn't be another angle to pursue...

Re: Delivery Time 7000DLE MKII
Thank you for maintaining production given the challenges. Waiting is the hardest part and loving the new rig. Radio has kept me mostly sane during this crazy period.

Re: Windows Update
I was reading this this morning thinking that hmm I've never had an issue. Then this afternoon I had to reinstall my soundcard driver because an update knocked the output channel out. Win 10 regularly shuffles around the default audio devices, but aside from that, until today, I haven't had a lot of...

Re: Low sensitivity and low noise floor
Just a generic comment. Digital modes even with the on/off cycle of FT8, are high duty cycle. It's much like AM or FM while transmitting. I don't run any of my 100W rigs above 25W on digital modes. I know people out there say to give it hell on FT8, but I disagree after many years of running keyboar...

Re: ORION bare PCB WANTED
I can't say why Apache Labs isn't selling them specifically, but I can tell you that the SDR business is very cut throat with people stealing IP and undercutting others who have put in the real design work. I have been involved in various projects, hardware and software in the amateur SDR space and ...

Re: Which one? Anyone compare them?
Thanks. So mapping the functions is a wash between the models really, they’ll just work.
Not sure I “need” one but today they are shiny.

Which one? Anyone compare them?
Been reading through the posts and it’s a bit confusing. The cmd pl-1 looks good but seems to be discontinued and I’m also looking at the two platter Hercules Inpulse 200 or 300 or Behringer CMD Micro or Hercules Starlight. It seems the Behringer models do the variable step size based on speed of th...

Re: Setting Wav file playback level
A tip. If you use Audacity to record test or voice keyer wav files, you can apply the amplify Effect to 0db with no clipping allowed and save the wav after that. I still had to trim the tx gain a bit on the thetis wav playback but a good bit less. For setup testing this was useful to get the initial...

Re: MON sounds different LSB to USB...??
Ah ok, thanks for replying, so it isn't "just me".
I was a front of house sound engineer for a number of years, touring and clubs, so I almost unfortunately notice things like this.

MON sounds different LSB to USB...??
Another n00b question, three days in, loving the radio. I'm up on the newest beta 2.0b firmware and the 2.7.x fork of Thetis. I'm probably overlooking something but if I have MON on, listening to myself talk, there is an odd, almost like a reversed phase type difference in sound between LSB and USB....

You put a lot of work into that manual, thanks for doing that. It’s been very useful to read through while I wait for the radio to arrive.

A few n00b questions
First thanks to WU2O and W1AEX, just tons of great info/videos etc. really great, tipped me to pull the trigger and order an Anan. My situation is, multiple mics, XLR switches, rack voice channels, all set up and working just nifty. PC input path is a Focusrite Scarlett 8i6, all set up and working p...
