Thanks Scott, I did email factory support and Doug has contacted me with instructions to ship it to him.

7000DLE MKII black - Poor receive signal on ADC1 (RX2)
I recently connected a receive-only antenna to the RX2 connector and I'm noticing the received signal strength on RX2 is 28 to 38 dB lower (depending on the band) than when the same antenna is connected to ANT1 (RX1, ADC0). I have 2 different antennae and I'm seeing the same results with either ante...

Re: Shipping Updates
I ordered a 7000DLE Black Edition on 15-December and have received an email that it will be shipped from the US (to Canada) early next week. I have been having issues sending/receiving emails to Apache Labs in the last few days. At the moment any email sent to apache-labs.com (tried two different m...

Re: What Mic Are You Using?
I also run an AT-2035, thru a Behringer Tube UltraGain MIC500USB (needed only for the 48v phantom power, the preamp stays in Neutral mode). That plugs into the computer's USB port and the audio (after some Windows-based software EQ'ing) feeds into the 7000DLE thru VAC1.

Same thing happens with my 7000DLE MKII, Thetis v2.8.11, Protocol 2 (I've noticed it since first acquiring this rig, Feb 2020).

Re: Questions about the 7000DLE MKII
The term "typical" pretty much doesn't apply to most things anymore.
The Apache Labs website notes a 4 to 6 week lead time for that rig.
I got mine a year ago and the lead time was 3 weeks.

No need to upgrade that processor at all. I have a 4 core 8 thread i7-6700K and run 15%-17% CPU load (total system load) while running Thetis v2.8.11 with 2 full panafalls (2 receivers) on a 40 inch monitor. My son has a 6 core 6 thread i5-8600K and his machine is faster than mine on all the CPU ben...

I just looked at your manual. Section 7.4 would benefit from some expansion. Note the hot links below for the URLs... . . VSPM is another free (to hams) option. However it has only the most basic capabilities and has not proven to be as stable for me as the other choices. Scott, Not sure what you m...

Re: P2 Coherent Diversity Issue
Thetis 2.8.11 Have tried P2 FW from V1.2 to V2.0b . . If I click diversity on/off/on ... over and over, sooner or later when turning it off the RX1 noise floor is elevated by 40-50 dB. I found that clicking diversity on and off repeatedly could induce the issue. It also occurs when not doing that a...

Re: Noise cancelling / Phasing using diversity
I use Diversity often to eliminate single-point noise sources, it works superbly. I was using it on 40 meters today to remove a roughly 3khz-wide 30db spike and was easily able to remove literally all evidence of the intruder from the panafall and the received audio....and there was a faint QSO hidd...

With these radios there's no need to park them on the bench. I've got my black 7K located in a corner of the shack behind a 1/2" drywall partition. I can't hear the fan at all.
Just something to consider.

Re: VAC toggles off when AM or SAM mode selected
The problem is that the mic that you last associated with AM mode is remembered for that mode (as it also is for the LSB and USB modes), and all of the settings specific to that mic's Profile get reinstated every time you change to that mode. So Save the Transmit Profile for the mic in question afte...

Another idea, you might import a previously saved database if you have one, so you'll be back to the audio settings that you know were working at that earlier point in time.

Re: Anan-8000 no audio
As a sanity check, perform the following test:
Transmit into a dummy load by speaking into the mic while the TX multimeter is set to Fwd Pwr. If the mic is working at all you should see some power reported.

You've come to the right place, there's lots of good help in this forum.
The system you propose should work fine, but make sure your ethernet card is gigabit capable.

Re: 32 vs 64 bits
Hi Phil, Running Thetis v2.8.11, Protocol 2, sample rate is 768K. When I was running 32 bit Thetis (prior to 2.8.11) I typically saw roughly 13-15% system load running RX1 alone. When I went to 64 bit I saw a drop in load to roughly 9-10%. When I add RX2 it goes up to maybe 12-13%. When I add HRD an...

I use Bitdefender Antivirus free edition, it's very low overhead and doesn't seem to interfere with Thetis or any other use of the PC (I have Thetis added to Bitdefender's exclude list).

Not having any more information than you gave us, there are a number of variables that could be contributing. 1) Where are you connecting the other voltmeters you're referencing? Directly at the power supply? That's not where your radio is connected (it's connected at the other end of the power cord...
