Re: Windows Update

Windows Updates regularly and predictably alter my Power Settings and Default Audio Settings. I currently use "Windows Update Blocker" so I can update windows when I want. I tried using their "pause" setting to delay updates. I found that certain updates would initiate anyway. So...

Re: Need Info about certain hardware

Hope I have not done the seller an injustice as there was a change back to a smaller case after I bought mine , just thought it was not blue but I am open to correction. I'm sure Abhi could confirm either way. Yes, I have the same feeling. I did not want to indirectly portray the hardware in the sa...

Re: Need Info about certain hardware

There is a 7000DLE MKII with a satin brushed face, it comes with an imbedded CPU: Yes I was aware of that one. There is a 7000DLE with a blue face and a round on/off switch for sale on QRZ.COM that is being presented as a MKII. I'n not sure it is or not. I didn't think there was a MKII with a blue ...

Need Info about certain hardware

I was curious about certain hardware for sale on a different site and have a question. Has Apache ever made a Anan 7000DLE MKII with a blue face and round power button?

Re: What affects Thetis Boot-up time?

For what it's worth my Thetis boots in 14 seconds. I'm measuring from the moment Thetis is started until the time it's available to power up. I actually have Thetis starting after the computer boots. I have several programs that start sequentially from a batch file in a specific order. 15 Seconds is...

Re: Keyboard commands in Thetis

You can get a list of the current shortcut keys in the Thetis manual. It can be downloaded here http://www.nicklebyhouse.co.uk/index.php/downloads/category/13-sdr?download=55:thetis-manual-draft-0-4.
I hope this helps.

Thank you much SA3ATF for the links to the videos. I wish I could have seen the second one before it was removed from YouTube. I've had my 700 since the beginning of 2020 and I love it, Plus, Bob's video alerted me to several things I was unaware of. Thank You Bob for the time you put in on the info...

I did write a kind of tutorial on getting started in the Thetis manual - section 3.6 (starting on page 27) Thank you very much for the heads up on the Thetis manual. I've had my 7000DLE since December an this is the first time hearing about it. It's helped clarify several different questions I had.

Yes Scott, Reset the database and that did the trick. The rest of my settings I can quickly recover. I just about have them all memorized. For the rest I have screen captures. Thanks again.

No audio in SAM or AM mode

I'm running Thetis v2.7.0 (3/1/20) MW0LGE (a3). I'm getting no audio when I switch to either the SAM or AM modes. No sound of any kind. I've check audio settings, Sample Rate, Buffer size and timings. All other modes work perfectly. I have not tried reloading the firmware yet. It was working a few d...

Re: Sound blaster internal sound card

Mr. de Cassoles, Very interesting reading on the interrupt front. Did you manually make your changes or did you use the MSI utility? I know manually changing them might be very labor intensive sometimes, but somewhat safer than a utility that might change things that need to be left alone. I remembe...

Re: Sound blaster internal sound card

Let me explain my question. The Presonus uses a USB 3.0 interface. the 3.0 USB interface is a bottleneck. What I am reading is that one could use an internal sound card instead of the Presonus bypassing this bottleneck. This has the possibility or capability of obtaining faster data transfer. This w...

Sound blaster internal sound card

I am looking at different hardware that would allow me to obtain the lowest latency possible. I am using the Behringer UMC202HD. I've read good reports about that and the Presonus 192. One advantage of the Presonus 192 is the USB 3.0 interface with the PC. Has anyone tried the Creative Sound Blaster...
