Anan 100D, Thetis Protocol 1, connection to Steppir and SPE Amp.

Hi Folks, I run an 8000dle and after assistance fron the forum, has been running on Protocol 1 and Thetis perfectly... no glitches on either CW or SSB with Behringer UMC202HD. I then recommended Apache products to a friend who currently runs an IC-7851. He then bought a pre owned 100D. Runs Thetis o...

Re: Resampler Adjustment

It remains a mystery why so many people are having such trouble. There is clearly something we all don't understand about how buffers should be set. Most serious audio software adjusts buffering in a completely automatic way with no significant latency. Any DAW application is a good example of this...

Sidetone audio glitch in CW

Hi Folks,
Using 8k and Thetis 2.6.8
I am getting a strange audio glitch at the start of a CW transmission on the sidetone.
Have turned of VAC and still the same.
SSB seems ok.
Has anyone else had any problems using CW?
As I am new to Protocol 2, it may be a setting that is incorrect.. ;)

Re: Behringer CMD PL-1 knobs values are incorrect

Your CMD PL-1 behaves exactly as it should. Here are some valuable information regarding the Midi implementation from W2PA, which also wrote the customization for the PL-1. http://w2pa.net/SDR/category/midi-controllers/ In particular (values 0-127 / 63-65) the following might be interesting for you...

Re: Behringer CMD PL-1 knobs values are incorrect

Not sure this answer will help, but... The setting of knobs, buttons or wheels is to tell PowerSDR what kind of control you are using. It does not tell the MIDI controller anything. The software will then present you with a list of commands that it supports for each type of control. Wheels are cont...

Behringer CMD PL-1 knobs values are incorrect

Behringer cmd pl-1 mapping in Powersdr MRX PS 3.4.9 Setting knobs only shows a range of value between 63 and 65 with a max value of 127? I was expecting this to show complete range like the main wheel used for tuning vfo. All knobs are the same. Whether set to knobs and buttons or wheels. Wheels see...

Re: PowerSDR mRX PS v3.4.8 Released

For those who have downloaded and installed any of my custom skins, it will be necessary to download new button packs and unzip them into the skin's Console folder to correctly display the VFO A and VFO B Lock buttons. Button packs are located at the bottom of the Skin Repository download page at t...

Re: Using Commcat with Anan 8000DLE

Thanks folks...
Working all ok now..
As mentioned, was easy..
using commcat with TS2000 wasn't a good idea as the program expects echo back from radio.
Setting to simpler command set of “ Generic Kenwood”..
Solved the problem..
Thanks Scot and Gary for offer of help..

Re: Using Commcat with Anan 8000DLE

You need to set up virtual serial port software. There are three choices: com0com, VSPM and Eterlogic VSPE. Install one of those, create a virtual serial port pair, assign one of the pair to PowerSDR, the other to whatever other application you need to communicate with. My preference is VSPE (altho...

Re: ANAN-8000DLE - permanent ADC overload

I have just had the same problem. Dealer helpfully upgraded to the latest version before I collected the radio..
Fortunately I had read a lot in these forums and realised that a downgrade to 2.3 solves the problem..

Using Commcat with Anan 8000DLE

Hi folks, This may well seem a simple question, but I cant seem to find a simple guide for using a virtual serial port software with PowerSDR MRX PS I just need to link Commcat to the 8k to control and read frequency information. If anyone has a link to how its done, or has the information, I would ...
