Go to "linearity" console, press "two tone" and then press "single cal"
Your pure signal will be adjusted for that frequency and power.

Re: Thetis connect via VPN ???
@OZ1CT-Ben Before you get too excited, the situation that ea3aqr describes is exceedingly rare. That is to say, his ability to move data reliably and with low latency over the internet is most unusual. Very few people enjoy that kind of performance over the internet. So, BEFORE you go any further, ...

Re: Thetis connect via VPN ???
If I remember well I also tried SoftEther as VPN but I was not able to start Thetis succsessfully. Worked well with SDR Console, but not with Thetis. Thetis needs some kind of a "special broadcast packet" to initialize the radio. Using OpenVPN there is an issue with latest Windows TAP driv...

Re: Thetis connect via VPN ???
It works, 192.168.1.xxx at Anan radio end and 192.168.10.xxx at the remote end. But as I said in the other post, you must set up your VPN in bridged mode, not routed mode. I'm using my radio remotely (200km away from my qth) that way very often from my remote at the mountains. Using a 384000khz of s...

Re: Thetis connect via VPN ???
I'm using very often my Anan that way (192.168.1.xxx and 192.168.10.xxx) I use OpenVPN in bridged mode. You need a high speed low latency link. Mine is fiber to fiber. 1Gb at the radio end and 300Mbps at the remote PC end with about 9-15ms latency. It works perfect 99% of the time running protocol 2...

Richie,
Thanks a lot for adding "[add] new option to apply 31dB tx attenuation when output power is increased and PS-A is on".
No more spikes/splatters when adjusting pure signal from low to high power.

Re: Pure signal or auto ATT issue. 300Khz wide splatter
I understand that PS takes some time to adjust.
It could be me, but I don't remember to see that 300Khz wide splatter when PS was analyzing/adjusting.
Thanks anyway!

Pure signal or auto ATT issue. 300Khz wide splatter
I've found an issue with pure signal, very visible, when using 2TONE. If you adjust pure signal at a very low drive level and then you try to adjust for a full power output, PS produces a very wide 300Khz splatter/spike while auto ATT is trying to find the correct value. Same issue, but not as clear...

Re: Thetis v2.10.3.3 released
Hi Richie,
Could you please add, in a future version, an option to disable the output to the amplifier PTT linked to each the TX profile?
This will be a good option, so we can have a high power profile on Thetis without the possibility of damaging the amplifier by mistake.
Thanks

Re: TX Profile updates
What about storing PA settings per TX profile?.
People with amplifiers could have a low drive power TX profile for amplifier use and a high power TX profile (100w) to choose from when they don't want to use his power amplifier.

Found a similar problem on a friend's radio today. No modulation when using space bar and ok clicking on MOX.
The problem was solved unchecking "Allow SPACE to override/bypass VAC for phone", so, as Scott said, check your override settings.

Re: Changing Windows 10 Network Throttling Index for Better Performance
I changed the throttling index a year ago and I've been running it consistently since then. What I noticed is that the audio ticks on TX that I was seeing and hearing have completely disappeared. The consequence seems to be the Thetis screen will freeze, and then when I click on the power button it...

Jordi, make the following adjustments and see if that helps. Seems that setting portaudio to 1 did the trick! Thanks! Yes, now I have studied the portaudio docs about this. And they don't have much to say. Apparently, when you set driver buffer size to zero, it is supposed to select a low latency, ...
