Re: Anan 7000dle and pure signal setting

Yes, you must reduce power for sure. I don't think the recalibration to lower powers will change the linearity, it is just the TX chain gain you are lowering.

The only problem with an external attenuator is how to remove it from the RX path, assuming you put one in line with the amp input.

Re: Anan 7000dle and pure signal setting

What can help with more resolution for lower only output powers on the 7000 is to possibly re-calibrate the transmitter, concentrating only on generating a lower maximum power. I think ... The export versions of the SPE amps have great gain, but are a real pain to use with most 100W transceivers. Doug

Re: Anan 7000dle and pure signal setting

The 1.3 is a good amplifier (I have one), but the top end characteristics are soft, what you are seeing is the way it is, you should probably back it off a bit, although the PS can do a good job of linearization, you gain nothing in terms of output power and are completely dependent on PS to keep th...

Re: N1MM Radio Connection to Thetis

Yes, good thinking!
I changed the N1MM side to port 6 and it works, looks like N1MM does not like higher port numbers, which is a shame.
Thanks!

Re: N1MM Radio Connection to Thetis

Yes, I have tried many combinations of port speeds with no joy. Seems like something else is blocking the communication between the two programs?

N1MM Radio Connection to Thetis

I am having problems getting N1MM+ connected to my 7000DLE, running Thetis 2.6.7 for some reason. My normal logger is HRD, which connects fine. I decided to use the same port, as I am not going to run HRD and N1MM at the same time, CAT2 on port 180, which is paired to port 181 using the Eterlogic VS...

Re: Thetis 2.6.7 some issues to fix on next release

Some issues I have noticed. 7000DLE Thetis 2.6.7 FW pre-2.0 About 10% of the time, when starting Thetis, it does not fully start, no splash startup screen, nothing appears to happen. If you re-start it, it complains there is another instance running. Sometimes, it seems like the bandstack/persistanc...

Re: Anan 7000DLE Mk-II PA output.

Any reply from them? My relatively new 7000DLE (non-mkII) also has low power on those two bands.

We can thank Scott!

And I just noticed this is only for the MKII, I have the original 7000DLE.

Re: Warning for 7000DLE MKII owners

Can we assume that if we have previously updated FW on our 7000 that the jumper is correct, or should everyone check it?
Is there a procedure somewhere for removing the covers?
Thanks (from a new user)
Doug
