Using the Bootloader with a JTAG Interface is optional. Under normal circumstances you do not need this option.

Re: NewBe questions LED and Firmware

You will find more informations in the manual. Pic. is from 7000 but you will find the same LED's in your 100d. I leave the question of protocol one or two to others. To ensure that the device works properly, I would use protocol 1 and powersdr first. Since not every protocol 2 firmware runs on ever...

For me, the AGC always changes to "Fixd" on the band that was last used before Thetis is turned off, even if it was set to "Med" before turning off. If e.g. 80m band is selected and closing Thetis, the next time Thetis is started, the AGC on 80m band is set to "Fixd". T...

Can you post a Screenshot from the error message?

Maybe this could also help.

Re: 2.7.0

Things I noticed in a2.
Some settings are not remembered.
With a clean database Thetis comes up with TX FL enabled. After disabling TX FL and closing Thetis, it is starting again with TX FL enabled.
Also VAC1/2, MICd, DEXP and others did not remember their last state.
Maybe it is only me

Re: Thetis 2.7.0

I had the same experience when updating an existing database. Obviously the radio model is not updated in Setup> General> H / W Select. I noticed this behavior even after importing an older database. The radio was then set to HPSDR instead of Hermes. But I think that most of the other settings were ...

Re: Slow Video Refresh- An Observation

I noticed this as well when Thetis is running at GDI+. Disabling picDisplay speeds up the redrawing of setupscreen. I think that has to do with the file size of picDisplay, which is relatively large in this skin compared to the other skins. Ever since Thetis can run at DirectX this is no issue for m...

Sounds like your Hermes Board is not recognized correctly by HPSDRBootloader. Which version is your HPSDRBootloader? Latest on Github is V 2.0.4.4. Have you also tried the web browser based HPSDRProgrammer v0.2.7? https://github.com/TAPR/OpenHPSDR-Protocol1-Programmers/releases/tag/v2.0.10 https://g...

Thanks for the new Version.
For me the firmware in Thetis 2.6.9 and 2.7.0 is correctly reported as 10.8.
No further tests have been carried out so far.

I switched back to 2.6.9c3 by Richie. I recommend to ask Richie about the changes. Re: DX / SWL Spotter remove map grid?

Already replaced it with another one. I have to test a few others as well.
I also changed the non working timeservers in DX/SWL Spotter.
It's not really important, but it annoyed me that the function didn't work.

Is there any DPI scaling active in Windows?
If yes, your error message should look like this, and points to combo.DisplayMode.

I assume that's the reason.
Try to set it back to default. (100%)

Re: DX / SWL Spotter remove map grid?

I assume you misunderstood something. Deactivating picDisplay does not hide the grid on the DX/SWL Spotter worldmap, the worldmap pic completely disappears. Also adjusting the Alpha of Appearance> Grid> Background is not useful because it only changes the grid in the RX display and not that of the w...

DX / SWL Spotter remove map grid?

Hi, is there a way to remove the grid in the worldmap pic which is shown if "Track" is active in DX / SWL Spotter? I always see both grids, the one from Thetis and the other one from DX/SWL Spotter. I assume the shown grid is part of the pic itself and can not be removed. Maybe it is possi...

Everything sorted out. LMC6482 was broken. Thankfully, no further damage has been done. It looks like the LMC6482 has had a problem right from the start. The only issue to get rid of is that PS feedback is going blue at about 20W. Now I had to rewrap the toroids again. So far so good. 73 de Sigi / D...

Hello Slawowmir, although the TM-2 is recognized by Windows as a HID device, the "Tmate2Console" setup program is also necessary to set up the device. And no, the Anan is not connected to the PC via USB. Has your anan ever worked before? If so, you should know that it will be connected via...
