Re: Thetis 2_8_11 changes/ideas/wants/wishes
Just a visual extension. Some more characters can be displayed so the names of the transmit profiles are better readable. Beside the dark background I also tend to have a darker frame for all dropdown boxes also. But I dont know how to color the frame in Visual Studio. As alway I have no clue what I...

Sharing TX profiles ?
Hi Guys, I like to ask if anyone is willing to share their favorite DX and ESSB TX profiles. Of course, this only makes sense if the audio processing takes place exclusively in Thetis. The TX profiles can easily be exported via Setup> Transmit> "Export Current Profile" and can be found in ...

Re: SWL Spotter and EIBI shortwave schedules
I thought so. To avoid confusion, we should stick to the common terms such as folder/directory and file.
Yes, I know about the file location. The point was the different terminology.

Leon, could please explain what do you meant with "map content" or "i just deleted my swl list in the map" or "map depending you use 64 or 32 bit Thetis version" or even "submap SWL :  I made that map but only to store a backup". Since there is no map or...

Re: SWL Spotter and EIBI shortwave schedules
Norbert,
I think there was a 20k Limit in the previous Thetis Version. Should be fixed in the recent 21xx versions from Richie.
@Leon, would you please provide a link to the csv file in question.

They can be downloaded as a zip file from https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eELS_GHAhLcrzX5SDQjnXr6NGUUarIl7/view?usp=sharing You only have to copy the contained button pics into the cor...

1. Would be nice if the issue in the linked thread could also be fixed. https://apache-labs.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3809 2. I like to ask if it is possible to bring back the "CTUN Scroll" checkbox like it is in PowerSDR mrx. I liked this option very much since it prevents to ...

Re: Thetis ctun odd behaviour going from tx to rx
You're right, my system works the same way. I can confirm this behavior from version 2.6.9.0 up to the current version. In version 2.6.8.0 it makes no difference whether DUP is switched on or off. Since then it does not work like before. Maybe a closer look in the changelog can clarify somethi...

Re: Andromeda???
The front panel USB-A J3 connection is looped through USB-B J4 on the back of the board and can be connected to the PC. It is basically just a USB extension from the PC and has no other connection to the circuit board.

Re: Andromeda???
Surely you need to connect the Arduino micro USB to the PC permanently.
How else is Thetis supposed to get the CAT commands from Andromeda?
How should Andromeda communicate with Thetis?
You have to set the COM-port for Andromeda in Thetis setup also.

Re: Andromeda???
Since your display is working, you should measure +5V at J17 which feeds the display backlight.
In that case IC4 is working.

Excellent. A small setting with a "big" effect. I assume you are now running the patched version. Regarding the 10 "LCD. Please note that the FxPad is set to 800x480. The resolution of the 10" LCD should therefore be adjustable to this resolution (approximately), as the operation...

Re: Bob S Meter
ZZFM works in my case like it is in the code snippet. Except the "alex_att" portion if Hermes is choosen. No matter Alex is active or not, Thetis returns ZZFM1. If Anan-10 or -10E is choosen ZZFM returns 0, all other Models (except Anan-7000DLE) returns 1. Only Anan-7000DLE returns ?. Not ...

Re: Bob S Meter
I looked at the code again. FxPad starts a request with ZZFM (radio model number) which Flex PowerSDR answers with 0, 1, 2 or 3. 0 = SDR1000 1 = FLEX5000 2 = FLEX3000 3 = FLEX1500 In our case, Thetis only answers with 0 or 1. This corresponds to 0 = SDR1000 and 1 = FLEX5000. ZZFM.PNG So it is not su...

Re: Bob S Meter
Probably won't work. Assuming that your Virtual Com ports are set up. Rename the .lic file. Start FxPad without running Thetis. FxPad now should run in trial mode (maybe trial period is over). If this is working, close FxPad, rename your .lic file back to fxpad.lic. Start FxPad again without running...

Re: Bob S Meter
It is not necessary to instruct Thetis to specifically send the S-Meter data to a specific port. As soon as a virtual port is set up, all possible CAT commands can be set or read via this port. Bobmeter constantly starts queries to Thetis at millisecond intervals with the CAT command ZZSM. Thetis th...

Re: Bob S Meter
This is the way it works. Virtual Comports are building a pair. So one port has to be setup in Thetis and the other port has to be setup in Bobmeter. You have to think of it like a cable with a plug on each end. One connector is COM3 and the other connector is COM4. COM3 "is" in Thetis COM...
