Although Pre1 was working very well for me, just an occasional SEQ error, Pre4 has been solid after several (6) hours of operation. Just one dropped packet, that I would not have noticed had it not been for the SEQLog alert.

Re: 2.6.8

Any real advantage in going beyond 30 frames per second? Not that I can detect. It has no impact on what your receiver hears, or it’s overall performance. It applies only to what you see on the display. Easy to compare 30 to 60. But the real WIN here is that now that the FPS part of the code has be...

Richie, your code fix appears to have corrected all issues regarding RX2 out of band movement and memory selection. These are exciting times for OpenHPSDR thanks to you, Doug, this forum, and the Apache team. Looking forward to more magic!

Thanks to the team for delivering 2.6.8, it’s everything we’ve been waiting for. Only bug I’m finding is a problem when RX2 is active in conjunction with VFO SYNC. Can’t move frequency beyond an Amateur Band Edge. Hope this is a simple fix.

The S-ATT issue persists on RX2, in fact the 10-20-30 db steps don't seem to behave as expected either.

Also, 5 hours of continuous net control operations on 40 meters this morning, with no spectrum jumps on FW 2.0 (Orion MKII)

RX1 or RX2 noise floor goes full scale on Ver 1.9

This is happening more frequently, probably still a timing issue. 5 times in 3 weeks, in Thetis ver 2.6.6 and 2.6.7, P2 ver 1.9, either the RX 1 or RX 2 panadapter noise floor goes full scale. You hear floor noise, but its very evident that reception has stopped. It seems to occur as the transceiver...

The capture I sent Rick contains both the Pre and post closure data, he received the file and will analyze it later today. I’m sure he would welcome other captures in the mean time. I fell back to 1.7 to run a net for an hour, and had no problem.

Thanks for the explanation Rick, many of us did see that release note from Phil about the clock speed, and it was a head scratcher. The implication of that would seem to be a ding on the performance of later production Orion MKII boards, not being able to handle enhanced clock speeds. My guess is th...

These pre-releases are generally available at https://github.com/w5wc/Thetis/releases/ but it's important to keep in mind that they are not official, they don't always include the msi installer, and there is no warranty expressed or implied, and your mileage will probably vary.
