Re: Quirks with Thetis
Thanks for the observation Gary. I have seen the situation where PS does stop working, but the button stays activated. I will experiment with the Tint setting. Also, I have not been able to get Single CAL to work. When I activate Single Cal, it seems to shut Pure Signal down. I don't think I have fo...

Re: Quirks with Thetis
Gary and I (NJ2US) have been testing Thetis with some very encouraging results, and our utmost respect and appreciation to the Devs for the effort. Anything that Gary saw, I have been able to duplicate. If you are on the East Coast, we are constantly discussing Thetis and P2 in the evenings on 160m ...

Re: "Sticking" Relay on ADC 1 and 2 Receive
I bought my 7000DLE in November, I believe it was delivered with FW 2.1 Noticed the sticking relay immediately. I'm back to 2.3, the power drop issue that arrived with Beta 2.4 stopped when I went back to 2.3, but the "sticking" issue returns. Hard to characterize how often it happens, but...

Re: "Sticking" Relay on ADC 1 and 2 Receive
I went back to the production version 2.3, and the power drop off issue stopped, but I did have two ADC receiver drop off events during 3 hours of operation last evening (using 2.3) . Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

Re: "Sticking" Relay on ADC 1 and 2 Receive
Ricks latest version is 2.4, the current generally available release is 2.3.
I went back to 2.3, and so far, the Transmit power to zero problem is not occurring. I’ll continue to test through this evening.

Re: "Sticking" Relay on ADC 1 and 2 Receive
OK, so after about a half hour of operation, I notice a new anomaly. After several seconds of transmitting, I notice that my power output suddenly drops to ZERO. I release the PTT and key up, and normal power output resumes. It is very repeatable, happening about 10 times in a 20 minute period. This...

Re: "Sticking" Relay on ADC 1 and 2 Receive
Applied the update and firmware on my 7000DLE is now reporting version 2.4
My ADC2 was “sticking” frequently, I’ll watch it for a couple days and see what happens.
Thanks Rick!

"Sticking" Relay on ADC 1 and 2 Receive
I have Anan 7000DLE Serial # 19, starting to notice that occasionally, my Receive sensitivity drastically drops during a PTT cycle, almost like you expect from dirty relay contacts somewhere in the front end. A quick PTT cycle clears the issue , and sensitivity returns to normal. Happened several ti...

Re: PowerSDR mRX PS 3.4.6 Released
Scott, when switching modes AM to L/USB it is remembering the Buffer and filter size, but no matter what I do, the filter type won't return to "Low Latency" unless I manually make the change. What am I missing? Thanks.

Re: PowerSDR mRX PS 3.4.6 Released
Scott has pointed out some of the known bugs from legacy code, much appreciated. I apologize if this has been noted before, but one of the more annoying bugs is when switching to AM mode, the DSP Buffer Sizes default back to RX=64, TX=128, and Filter type changes back to Linear Phase.

Re: Notch function
Bill, in the the noise blanker button section. You will see ANF (Automatic) and MNF (Manual). 2 clicks of the NR button activates NR2 which is especially effective at reducing background noise. The notch filters work as expected.

Re: ANAN-7000DLE Update
The kid at Gigaparts boasted that they were the “Number 1 Apache Labs Dealer” in the US and nobody would have stock or quantity before them.
I think this kind of info should be distributed so that customers can ask questions and draw their own conclusions.

Re: ANAN-7000DLE Update
That’s funny, Gigaparts told me on Tuesday Nov 21 that 4 we’re arriving at gigaparts on Friday Nov 24. I reserved my 7000DLE in early August at Gigaparts, but was told I was number 5 in line (on Tuesday) and might have to wait until next Friday for the next batch. It depended if number 4 returned a ...

Re: Rev 24 200D Pure Signal HPF Disable on TX
Thanks Scott. Evidently the HPF Disable on TX may have been used with the older revision boards that required some external patching for Pure Signal applications: W1AEX said earlier: "With the simplest approach to this project you can run the Port A output from the RF coupler through a -20dB at...

Rev 24 200D Pure Signal HPF Disable on TX
I’ve plowed through the threads and I’m a bit confused. With a late model Rev 24 200D, using the Xtronics coupler connected to the Bypass port, 1000 watts from an ICOM PW-1, Pure signal seems to be working fine. But, should I be using ALEX “ON” (firmware control), and should HPF DISABLE ON TX, be ch...
