Re: Elad TMATE2 USB Tuning system

Hi Jeff, I tried to download it but it tells me it cannot find the dll file and refuses to download. The dll file will not download. I have no idea of how to proceed. John, WB4YAL, sent me an email with the program and it loaded but it will not let me select COM7. The only choices are COM3 or COM4, ...

Re: Elad TMATE2 USB Tuning system

I just double checked the box and there is no CD. I received no software and I guess that is the problem? I searched the net and found just one guy who seems to have a copy but it has "issues". Can anyone provide me with a copy of the software or point me to an internet source?

Re: Elad TMATE2 USB Tuning system

My ELAD TM-2 arrived today. It does not work right out of the box. Interestingly, I do not have any kind of popup window like the one illustrated for the WoodBox Tmate-2 version. Where did that come from? I've searched the ELAD website and did not find any downloads for the TM-2. The directions that...

Re: MIDI Control

Perhaps I spoke too soon. If I put the computer in sleep mode and then go back to using the radio, the MIDI controls do not work. I tried shutting down the program and restarting it but it was still a no-go. I have to reboot the computer to get the MIDI going again. I suspect it is a Microsoft issue...

Re: MIDI Control

My ignorance is on full display here. First, I did not know there was a MIDI forum. Second, I did mix-up programs when I spoke of the Hamlib error. Last night I was also trying to get FT8 going, along with the MIDI controller, and that is where Hamlib showed up. I do apologize for the confusion. It ...

MIDI Control

I want to hook up a MIDI controller to my ANAN-10. I figured all I'd have to do was buy the controller, a Behringer CMD Studio 2A, hook it up to the radio, and program it using the instructions provided in Scott's YouTube video. Nope, not that simple. Apparently the controller and the radio are not ...

Re: ANAN-10 Receive Audio

Hi Scott, Yeah, I thought about it for a while and concluded that the page was misleading. The audio in all in the ANAN-10. My problem is the speaker is silent. MON is highlighted, Master AF is 100, RX1 AF is 37, AGC Gain is 107. The speaker is properly wired and worked with the old computer. What a...

Re: ANAN-10 Receive Audio

I have moved the ANAN-10 to an NUC computer and, again, audio problems. I do have a correctly wired speaker plugged into the headphone jack in the front of the radio. When I look at the Setup -Audio panel- Primary- all the selections are grayed out, I can't change them. That includes Primary Sound C...

Re: MIDI Brick

Scott, one thing I forgot to ask. Will the FlexControl act as a MIDI controller? How does one activate it?

Re: MIDI Brick

Hi Scott. Turned out to be some sort of conflict. I had unplugged my Flex this morning. Did that cause the issue? I did delete the PowerSDR software and then reinstalled it. No change. So I fired up the Flex software, in guest mode, and then the PowerSDR came to life. And it still boots after I turn...

MIDI Brick

My ANAN-10 no longer works. It was fine until I decided to use a Flex Control as a tuning knob. I clicked on the MIDI controller button and it went through some sort of setup and ended with a blank screen. And that was that. Now when I try to start PowerSDRmRX I get a "radio is not connected&qu...

Re: ANAN-10 Receive Audio

Good evening Scott and all, This all started back a while ago when I was asking why my Flex 5000A sounded much better than my ANAN-10. Now, with a correctly wired, unpowered, inexpensive (some would say cheap), Insignia speaker, my ANAN sounds fantastic. Better than the Flex. While I have not tried ...

Re: ANAN-10 Receive Audio

Hi Scott, Thank you for setting me straight. I guess I made at least two errors. I was also getting the Flex 5000A going and it requires stereo, powered speakers. When I read on page 11 of the ANAN-10 manual, under ANAN Hardware Requirements, "A set of stereo speakers or stereo headphones with ...

Re: ANAN-10 Receive Audio

They are plugged into the rear speaker jack. They are stereo, powered, speakers. I have no idea of how they are wired, they are supposed to be standard. They work fine on my Flex 5000A

ANAN-10 Receive Audio

I have a pair of Altec-Lansing speakers that work fine with my ANAN-10, the only issue is they sound bad, very tinny. I've tried West Mountain Radio and Bose speakers and both exhibit a huge hum. I have not been able to fix the hum. Any suggestions? BTW, I also tried my computer speakers and they al...

Re: ANAN-10 Receive Audio

Hi Scott, A search of the index yields nothing regarding passband filters. Where would I find them? The equalizers are set the same, 3 band is checked at the top but the enabled button is not checked. Interestingly, if I check the enabled button on the Flex there is no change but if I do that with t...

ANAN-10 Receive Audio

I have an ANAN-10 and a Flex 5000A. They seem equally sensitive but the ANAN seems to have a much higher tone/pitch receive audio. For instance, the noise floor is considerably higher in frequency, more of a hiss, and is very tiring to listen to. Kind of like an Elecraft K3 back in the day. The Flex...
