Re: Powered Speaker for my setup !!

Upon further investigation I have found the source of the clicks etc on the audio, believe it or not, it's the action of the mouse wheel and firefox, when displaying a page where it is necessary to use the scroll wheel, like a swap shop etc, I hear the intermittent clicks and noises on the anan audi...

Re: Powered Speaker for my setup !!

Thanks for the reply, I have it working now. What prompted this, was some audio clicks I could hear especially when using the NR and NR2 selections, I did look around on the forums and I noticed that a recent update to win10 may be the culprit. I also hear the intermittent clicks on the speaker as w...

Re: Powered Speaker for my setup !!

Just to verify, the 1/4" l & R jacks on the rear panel cannot drive a regular unpowered speaker? I plugged speakers in (mono plug), and I get no audio out. Or is the a setting in the setup for this..thanks

Re: Maybe Bricked my 7000dle

Many thanks to Doug W5WC for getting me fixed up with the anan. It turns out I didn't actually brick it, what happened was the previous owner had installed a relay and switch for puresignal and an amplifier, but instead of plugging in the "normal/bootloader" switch back into j17, they plug...

A direct connection cable between the radio and the PC did the trick!

I tried the direct connection, there was no change

Re: Maybe Bricked my 7000dle

I confirmed that I am using the suggested version of winpcap. I tried HPSDRBootloader with both switch positions and I did it twice in each instance. Once by running the software and then turning on the anan and once by turning on the anan and then running the software. I also ran HPSDRBootloader in...

Re: Maybe Bricked my 7000dle

I inspected the radio as per your instructions and I see I have the EPCS chip and in fact no jumper. I was using the winpcap and not the win10pcap... but I didn't rename the rbf to metis. The switch is a netgear GS605v2.
Having said all that, whats next.
